Join us on Sunday 15th November for our Family Play Event at The Together Space, 1 Church Hill, Walthamstow! Our inclusive events, which welcome children with and without disabilities and their families, are thoughtfully designed to create the opportunity for all families to connect, exercise, play, learn and grow together, without stigma or awkwardness.
This November, we're delighted to welcome back Performing Pets and their Animal Meet & Greet Experience! Children will have the chance to get up close with a wonderful variety of friendly animals, which could include lambs, miniature pigs, baby goats, bunnies, chicks, ducks and budgies. We can't promise exactly which furry and feathered friends will be joining us on the day, but we can guarantee they'll be cute!
This month, we're running two shorter, one-hour sessions to give as many children as possible the chance to enjoy this special experience.
Session 1: 10am–11am
Session 2: 11.15am–12.15pm
Please note that families will need to leave promptly at the end of their booked session so we can reset the space and welcome the next group.
This month's inclusive activities for everyone to enjoy are:
ANIMAL MEET & GREET WITH PERFORMING PETS: Meet some adorable furry and feathered friends! Children will have the opportunity to get close to a variety of friendly animals, encouraging curiosity, kindness and a connection with the animal world. All the animals are lovingly cared for by Performing Pets, a family-run business whose talented animals have appeared on both stage and screen.
ACTIVE PLAY & READING AREA Explore our wide range of toys, games and books! From train sets and puppets to cosy reading opportunities, there's something for children of all ages and interests to enjoy.
SENSORY SPACE: Need a little break from the excitement? Our calming sensory corner offers soft lighting, comfy bean bags and sensory toys, providing a quieter space for children who might benefit from some downtime.
TUCK SHOP & SEND COFFEE: Our Together Space Tuck Shop will be open, offering children's snacks and soft drinks. Plus, our friends from SEND Coffee will be back serving delicious coffee to keep the grown-ups going

Please Note: this is not a drop-off event and parents/carers will need to attend with their child. All tickets include TWO parents/carers.
