NEW Weekly Strength & Fitness Classes for Young People with SEND (11–14 yrs)

We’re launching a brand-new strength and fitness programme at The Together Space, designed for children aged 11–14 with a learning disability who have low muscle tone or reduced mobility.

Starting Wednesday 1st October, 4:30–5:30pm then weekly, every Wednesday: 8th, 15th Oct → (half term break) → 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th Nov + 3rd, 10th, 17th Dec.

These sessions are for children who:

  • Want to take part in mainstream sports or clubs but find the pace too fast or physically challenging

  • May struggle to keep up with peers, even in younger age groups

  • Are physically able and want to move, but need a slower, more supportive environment to build confidence, strength and posture

The first few sessions will focus on movement and gently assessing each child’s level, so we can shape a tailored programme that meets their needs.

What’s included:

  • Strength and posture work (core, balance, upper + lower body)

  • Adapted dance and movement

  • Confidence-building games and activities

  • A safe, fun space to connect with peers

Block of 10 sessions: £80
Drop-in rate: £10/session
