This inclusive drop-off Holiday Play Scheme, hosted by The Together Space and led by an experienced SEND Teacher, welcomes children aged 4–12 with disabilities and their siblings.
To ensure the scheme is safe, nurturing and truly inclusive, we staff at the highest level of support and offer 1:1 care wherever needed. Our experienced team specialise in supporting children with a range of disabilities and additional needs, including Autism, ADHD and physical disabilities. Every child is supported to feel understood, valued and able to thrive.
Our Holiday Play Schemes are thoughtfully designed so children can move, socialise, relax and play together in a safe and inclusive environment. Each day follows a carefully planned structure, incorporating social communication games, attention-building and bucket group sessions, free and imaginative play and daily activities such as inclusive dance, fitness, cooking and art workshops. Our structured timetable ensures children feel secure, engaged and happy throughout the day, with a balance of active, creative and calming activities.
Our site at Gnome House offers a wonderful range of spaces designed with inclusion in mind. We have a dedicated fitness and movement space with soft play and an inflatable ball pit, movement equipment to support regulation, a calming sensory area, a cosy reading corner, an active play area with a wide range of exciting toys, puzzles and games and a garden space filled with additional games and outdoor play opportunities.
Every aspect of our scheme is designed to create a joyful, supportive and enriching holiday experience for every child. HAF funded places are free and include lunch and snacks.
Staffing and Support
To make the scheme safe and truly inclusive, we staff at the highest level of support. Each ticket reflects the cost of dedicated 1:1 care (£120 for a full 6-hour day, 9am–3pm). You can use your Short Breaks Direct Payments for this scheme.
If your child requires 1:1 support, they will receive this.
From experience, some children actually enjoy the scheme more when supported on a 1:2 basis (one staff member working between two children). Where this is the case, we will adapt to your child’s needs to ensure their enjoyment and wellbeing.
The cost remains the same in all cases as it allows us to maintain the staffing levels needed to provide the highest quality care for every child.
If you would like your child to attend with their own carer (eg, someone funded by Short Breaks Direct Payments or personally funded) you can book a WITH OWN CARER ticket for £30 per day. The carer will be fully responsible for your child during the scheme but your child will be able to take part in all the planned activities.
Sibling Tickets
Reduced-rate NON-DISABLED SIBLING Tickets (50% off) are available for neurotypical siblings who do not require 1:1 support.
To support families with more than one child with SEND, we also offer a DISABLED SIBLING TICKET at a 10% discount. This reflects the high staffing costs but also recognises the additional challenges faced by families.
Every family’s circumstances are unique if you’d like to discuss your child’s needs or your family’s situation, please contact us directly at: hello@thetogetherspace.co.uk

Cancellation Policy Cancellations made at least one week in advance receive a full refund; those made between one week and 48 hours receive a 50% refund. No refunds are available for cancellations made within 48 hours of the start date.
IMPORTANT: If you are on the waitlist, we may not be able to offer a place if one becomes available less than one week before the start of the scheme. This is because we require sufficient time to prepare properly for each child, including gathering detailed information and allocating the appropriate staff support. A minimum of one week ensures we can do this safely and to the standard we expect.
Thank you for understanding - your bookings help us plan staffing and resources to support and ensure every child has the best possible experience at The Together Space.
